THAT IS Your FBI, as the title suggests, was a crime drama that featured true cases in the FBI and was told from an agent’s viewpoint. The show’s manufacturer and movie director, Jerry Devine, acquired once worked for the FBI, so having him for the display allows each story to find out in the simplest way possible. J. Edgar Hoover, who was simply the chief of the FBI at that time, gave it his endorsement, contacting it “the best possible dramatic program in the atmosphere,” and offered Devine usage of the FBI files for the stories used concerning this Is Your FBI, Vol. 1 in the show.

The show’s primary character was Agent Jim Taylor, who handled crime cases around the West Coast. Each thirty-minute event allowed for the presentation of the criminal’s actions, adopted up with Taylor’s analysis of the crime. This long-running series starred Frank Lovejoy (and later on Dean Carlton and William Woodson) as the narrator, Betty White colored, and Stacy Harris.
