Much Ado About There is nothing a comedy by William Shakespeare on the subject of two pairs of lovers, Benedick and Beatrice, and Claudio and Hero. Benedick and Beatrice are involved in a ‘merry battle’; they both chat a mile one minute and proclaim their scorn for like, marriage, and each other. In contrast, Claudio and Hero are sweet teenagers who are rendered practically speechless by their like for just one another. By means of ‘noting’ (which sounds exactly like ‘nothing at all,’ and which is usually gossip, rumour, and overhearing), Benedick and Beatrice are tricked into confessing their like for each additional, and Claudio is definitely tricked into rejecting Hero in the altar. However, Dogberry, a Constable who’s a master of malapropisms, discovers-unbeknownst to himself-the bad trickery of the villain, the bastard Don John. In the end, Don John can be captured and everyone else joins in a dance celebrating the marriages of both couples.
