Fresh back from leading, another foe defeated, Prince Arutha gets there to find all isn’t well in Krondor. Some apparently arbitrary murders has brought an eerie peaceful to the town. Where normally the streets are bustling with about Krondor: The Assassins merchants and tricksters, great life and night life, there appears to be a self-imposed curfew at sundown.
