The “Pubbers,” ten gifted social misfits, set out one night to explore a couple of steam tunnels beneath their campus, turn out captured by aliens, and are transported by space ship to some other planet. Hoping to come back home they pool their skills to construct a time machine. The escape plan is found out and the Pubbers find out that building the device is why these were kidnaped to begin with. 5,000 years back they had guaranteed their captors that they would build the machine to save lots of their competition from extinction. To go back home they must unravel what they’ve performed in the past, figure out a plan for the future, and go back home in an alien spacecraft, all while eluding two warring races. Simple, right?!….
