Ramesh has generated his store up over the course of 30 years, and it is a securely entrenched feature of the neighborhood area. He is ably helped by Dave, a forty-something underachiever who stocks Ramesh’s love from the artwork of shopkeeping, even if he is treated just like a slave. Then of course a couple of Ramesh’s sons Sanjay and Alok, both surly about Fags, Mags, and Bags: Series 1-4: The BBC Radio 4 comedy series rather than particularly keen on the old-school method of shopkeeping. However, they will be the organic successors to the business enterprise, and Ramesh is definitely keen to pass all his worldly knowledge to them – if they enjoy it or not…
