Summary:
‘So arrive, you coyotes, and howl on the moon ’til there’s bloodstream upon the sawdust in The Last Chance Saloon…’ It’s 1881 and, in the Wild West arrangement of Tombstone, a couple of three strangers around: ‘Doctor Caligari’, ‘Steven Regret’, and ‘Miss Dodo Dupont’. They’ve found its way to a 20th Hundred years blue police container, and they’re about to wander into a whole heap of problems… The Doctor can be in need of a dentist, however the type of anaesthetic Doc Holliday uses comes out of the liquor container. He’s in about Doctor Who: The Gunfighters the middle of a feud using the Clanton family members, whilst Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson make an effort to keep the serenity. This isn’t the place for a soothing holiday, as the TARDIS staff shortly discover. Tombstone’s not really the most gladly named of towns, and it seems it may live up to that name any time now. There are a gunfight in the Fine Corral brewing and, if the Doctor and his friends aren’t careful, they’re going to be caught in the crossfire…. In a bonus interview, Peter Purves, who also narrates this remastered soundtrack, recalls the making of The Gunfighters for television. A particular 10-minute bonus music segment is also included.
