Colonial Williamsburg, Part II — Bruton Church to the Capitol Audiobook (Free)

PARTLY II of our tour of Colonial Williamsburg, we step back in time, once again, to obtain a closer look at the picturesque town as well as the interesting residents who lived and worked here. On this tour, we leave the elegant mansions behind and go to with the merchants, the tradesmen, and artisans that created the everyday fabric of the historic community. We’re starting at one of the first churches in Virginia, Bruton Parish Cathedral. On the way we’ll see the 1st public mental organization established in the country, we’ll stop by one of Virginia’s early arsenals and we’ll pass properties once owned by Martha Washington’s relatives. Fittingly, we surface finish at the 1st building in the us to be called The Capitol — the place that saw the origins of American Independence.
