Deep down she knows an ordinary Jane like her will never be picked by one of the kings anyhow. Lots of the females in the city square are stunningly gorgeous and model slim. Most seem thinking about being a queen also if it means becoming mated to a blood sucker, which matches her just great.

Imagine her amaze though when King Brant pieces his places firmly on her behalf. Once a vampire king has decided, there is no heading back. But her home is in Sweetwater. Being forced to live amongst the vampire types . big gulp . . . forced to mate having a vampire . . . is not what she had at heart for herself.

Maybe she may convince him to permit her go, to choose again. If not really, she’ll have to discover a way to flee his-very muscled and rather delicious-clutches.
