Summary:
Charles has gone out of function again, and to help to make matters worse his mother has come to stay and he’s no chance of escaping her. Therefore when he’s provided some voiceover work by outdated friend, Hugo, he’s happy to escape the home. But Hugo’s marriage is in trouble: his much more youthful wife, Ellie, spends all her time at her Beginner Dramatic Group, and Hugo is drinking too much.
When Ellie is found drowned within their swimming pool, it appears Hugo is guilty of murder. It’s up to Charles to demonstrate his friend’s innocence…
