Summary:
Kate is a student, hitching her way to Glastonbury in 1995. Julie is usually a newly separated housewife in her 40s, driving home. Against her better judgement, she picks Kate up and gets taken on the voyage of breakthrough that changes her life.
Be aware: This includes two stories, one particular from Julie’s perspective and the various other telling the same events from Kate’s point of view and extending the storyplot a bit.

…She took a sip of the wine. “What about you? Ever tried a walk in the crazy about The Housewife And The Hitchhiker aspect?”
“What? Oh, you suggest have got I ever, um, been with a female. No” Julie had taken another sip of your wine to hide her nervousness. I thought I’d got over this, exactly why is it coming back?
“Under no circumstances? Not even at school? By no means ‘practise’ kissing with your best friend? Hardly ever go to your best friend’s home and evaluate the changes puberty was making to you both? Hardly ever spent the night spooning with a friend at a sleepover? I did so all those and whereas I used to be gay I’m pretty sure they weren’t”
Julie was sure her face was red while she answered. “No, I’ve hardly ever done anything like this” Though I really do keep in mind Cynthia at college discussing practising kissing with Emma. And I recall sense jealous… She gulped some more wine to hide her discomfort. And just why am I uncomfortable with this?
“Well, if you wish to see everything you missed out on, I’m here.” Kate said having a smile and a seductive pout.
Heart pounding, Julie replied “We idea you said I had been safe and sound with you”, smiling and laughing nervously. Did she mean that? Do I want her to possess meant it?
“I said that I wouldn’t do whatever you don’t want me to. And I intended it.” She reached to place her wine glass down, moving closer as she do. “Therefore, what would you like, Julie? Would you like me to kiss you?”
Oh God… “I…” What perform I say? “I…” Julie couldn’t speak, her tone of voice was paralysed with the thought of where this may lead.
