Writer bio: Dave Hutchinson was born in Sheffield in 1960. After reading American Research at the University of Nottingham, he became a journalist. He’s the writer of five series of short stories and two books, and his novella The Drive was shortlisted for the 2010 BSFA award for short fiction. He in addition has edited two anthologies and co-edited another. His short tale ‘The Incredible Exploding Man’ highlighted in the initial Solaris Increasing anthology, and was selected for the Year’s Greatest Research Fiction collection. He lives in north London with his wife and several cats.
