Summary:
Still stranded in 1815, FBI agent Kendra Donovan finds herself within the trail of the vicious murderer having a shocking secret.
October 1815: Right now there is only one place Kendra Donovan wants to travel-back to her personal time frame in the twenty-first century. But since that’s not taking place, she agrees rather to travel with her fresh guardian, the Duke of Aldridge, to 1 of his smaller estates in Lancashire. Their trip requires them through Yorkshire, a region whose breathtaking beauty masks a simmering violence brought on by the Industrial Trend, which pits mill owner against employee.
When Kendra as well as the Duke encounter a band of Luddites on the lonely, fog-shrouded street, the Duke informs the specialists in the nearby village of East Dingleford that mischief may have been performed at the neighborhood mill. However, it isn’t simply mischief but murder that is discovered, when the body from the mill manager, Mr. Stone, is found brutally bludgeoned to death in his office.
