She’s not happy because her dad is departing, slinking off into retirement and now she has to clean up his mess. Alana can be a servant in the palace and the unlucky soul who has to focus on Jyuth. Alana understands that intelligence and curiosity aren’t appreciated in somebody of her train station, but sometimes she can’t help herself. Therefore she discovers herself drawn in to the Wizard’s schemes.

Chance brings this unlikely band together to fight through civil unrest, assassinations, political machinations, pirates, and monsters, all for any common cause that they know, deep down, does not have any chance of succeeding-bringing hope to the folks of Kingshold.
