Summary:
Jerry McKenzie is a reclusive and antisocial musician, quite content to trip his horses and work in his studio, keeping to himself. It isn’t almost any life for a kid, so when Jerry realizes he’s been named his orphaned nephew’s guardian, he panics. He doesn’t know what regarding a child and isn’t sure he can provide William the devotion and the love the boy therefore desperately needs.
After that Jerry meets David Loewenberger, the new teacher William becomes immediately mounted on, and he starts to observe how they could make a family collectively: a family group to replace the main one William lost, a family group David had given up on ever finding… a family group Jerry never understood he wanted.
