Summary:

Sure enough, word soon reaches the school that one of the local count’s home sage has died, perhaps slain by black magic. Durwin is whisked away to the nobleman’s castle, only to discover that one loss of life was only the beginning. The youthful sage quickly discovers of programs to assassinate Ruler Henry. Dropped into the middle of the complicated politics of England’s royal courts, can Durwin prevent them in time?
