Not many may say they were burned by fate. I’m the exclusion.

Scalded figuratively, emotionally, and physically… I have the scars working down my arm, ribs, and part to confirm it.

The doctors did what they can to heal me by smoothing the abraded epidermis using other parts of my body. But they can only do so much. Sometimes, what can not be seen can not be healed.

The fire that night took more than a pound of flesh. It obliterated my skill, beauty, & most significantly, seared the bond about Fate I had developed with the man I adored. Sure, it was me who forced him aside, but I put my reasons. I did so what any woman would do in my situation. I quit everything so that one day he’d find happiness and peace.

Right now I’ve healed a bit on the outside, and inside, but We still crave the main one I release. Even today he talks about me with fireplace in his eye, a heat so bright in his getting he glows with it. I fear the light, the flames that could consume me whole. The problem now is, he’s not really mine anymore. I just may possess waited too much time to combat for him, for all of us, for a future together.

There’s only one thing I could do. Let fate decide.
