In Season 6 of Powder River, Etta and Jacob locate a 10 year old boy, Levi Curtis, chopping wood at their house, acting as though he lived there. Britt soon discovers he is the sole survivor of an Indian attack on the Conestoga wagon he”s traveling in along with his family. Britt realizes Levi does not have any relatives and prepares to take him towards the orphanage in Sheridan. When calling line happens in Clearmont, Millie hires Etta to work the switchboard. Etta shortly begins hearing factors she shouldn’t: other’s conversations. Season shows include Doc’s Peril, in which a guy is murdered, money is stolen, and Doc is the prime suspect, and The Fond Farewell, as Chad leaves Clearmont to become listed on the Tx Rangers.
