Summary:
Her career in homicide has taken her in to the darkest depths of NY City’s underground-and sometimes Lieutenant Eve Dallas feels more comfortable in those types of locations than in the high-rise, high-society world of her billionaire spouse, Roarke. But while she’s no party woman, she’s managing to truly have a reasonably good time at the celebrity-packed bash celebrating the debut from the Icove Agenda. This time it’s Eve, not Roarke, who’s a visitor of honor, because the film is dependant on one of her about Celebrity in Death popular cases. Her partner, Peabody, is definitely practically giddy over massaging shoulder blades with Hollywood royalty. Eve, on the other hand, is more likely to move her eye than have superstars in them. But she has to confess it’s just a little spooky seeing the actress playing her, who looks almost like her long-lost twin. Not as unsettling, though, simply because viewing K. T. Harris, the actress who takes on Peabody-drowned in the lap pool on the roof from the director’s high end building. Talented but rude, and widely disliked, K.T. experienced made an uncomfortable scene during dinner. She clearly loved being the guts of attention. Right now she’s at the guts of a criminal offense scene-and Eve is more than ready to escape her high heels and strap on her behalf holster, to stage into the part she was created to play: cop.
