Just a Minute began on BBC Radio 4 in 1967 and has become a classic panel game which continues to be popular about Radio 4 today. Guests have to talk for 60 secs on topics which range from ‘My Ticklish Bit’ to ‘Eating Winkles’ without repetition, deviation or hesitation. As ever, the Chairman is usually suave but embattled Nicholas Parsons. Panellists are Peter Jones, Derek Nimmo, Paul Merton, Fred MacAulay, Graham Norton, Tim Rice, Linda Smith, Julian Clary, Jenny Eclair, Clement Freud, Stephen Frost and Tony Hawks. These four displays were documented in Bath, Edinburgh, Brighton and Sheffield, using the latter show being Derek Nimmo’s last appearance on Just a Minute.
